Annual General Meeting at 7pm Monday 1st June 2015
Blagdon Hall Estate Clock room
The Society was delighted to be able to hold this year’s Annual General Meeting once again in the delightful surroundings of the Blagdon estate.
From 6 -7.00pm the gardens were open exclusively for our members to follow the late Lord Ridley’s excellent leaflets to explore the Blagdon Gardens Walks. (These were available from the office upon request and available on the night)
The AGM began at 7.00pm in the Clock Room. The election of committee members was dealt with and the accomplishments of the last year expanded upon.
We were very fortunate this year that Dr Bernard Trafford the Headmaster of the Royal Grammar School in Newcastle had agreed to give our annual talk to members.
This is an ideal occasion in which to relax and meet old and new members in historic and beautiful surroundings and there was an excellent atmosphere.
